Calendar of Events January/February Chinese New Year/Family Potluck: Families dress in red and bring their favorite Chinese food, and the children perform a Dragon Dance. April WCCC and Wallingford United Methodist Church joint, fundraising auction. June August Pre-K Graduation Ceremony: This is an all-family potluck held at Meridian Park every summer. The graduation ceremony is held and there is a special guest for entertainment. October/November Halloween Costume Parade: Simple, homemade costumes are encouraged for our annual parade. We also have: · Parent Education nights · Parent/Teacher conferences · Annual Curriculum Night We are closed: New Years Day Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday President’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Weekend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (we will close the proximate dates if the holiday falls on a weekend) The center will be closed one day in May and one day in October or November for Teacher in-service days. These dates will be announced at least thirty days in advance.
